Northumbrian Lower Class Homes

Hi there! I just wanted to introduce myself and share with you some new lots. My name is Princess Amy (child_of_air) and love historical games! I used to have my own website, The Elegant Sim, that specialized in historical downloads.
Anyway, today I am sharing two new lots, which are part of a series of lots I plan to upload. The neighborhood is called Northumbria, and I will be uploading lots to furnish an entire neighborhood.
These lots are partially furnished and have been built especially for your serfs, peasants and yeoman.
Free objects included:
Gardening objects by Tarox
Pirate bay build items, mortar and pestle and walls by Parsimonious
Antique Fireplace by Maylin
Candles and tankard by Gara
Ed's hearth
Echo's rug and recolors by Cathy
Roof by Mia
silent hill wooden gate
floors and decorative items by Kativip
Pay Items:
Big Barn, wine tavern and fisherman's items by Wood for Sims
From TSR:
Sim's Addict 99- rug recolors, counters, fridge and sink
stack of barrels by cyclonesue
Windkeeper tavern door and recolors by Piggy
Sofal Garden toilet

Welcome to the Blog!! So ... will we get to see some of your stuff that had been posted at Elegant Sims? Can't wait to see all your lots for the Northumbria neighbourhood.

Most of my files from Elegant Sims have been sadly lost. But I did manage to get a hold of some and will be reworking them. Stay tuned :)

Beautiful lot!! And Welcome also!

Really? I have many of the Elegant Sims files, I'd be happy to gather what I have and pass them onto you!

In fact, here they are: http://www.mediafire.com/?gra1aps0mzlrl6q I've got 34 files, all the Medieval era ones. Be warned: 16.52MB!

And I'm having a hard time downloading from the site you used... any suggestions? (went to their FAQ, nothing that worked for me.)

I'm sorry you are having trouble. The site seems to be working fine for me, it just has a link to download at the top of the page, the files are in 7Z format, a free open source compression program.

Thanks for including that link! :)

Sorry,

the link should take you to a page with free servers (in blue). Click on one of those and you should be able to access the file. Sometimes you have to wait.

OOooooo! Meshy! You're a goddess! Hope you don't mind but I nabbed those files too. I'm going to check them out in-game and take pictures later. I'll let ya know a link if you want them later for anything.

Seems the download is only available for ths USA (Westcoast/Eastcoast).
I wasn't able to download.

I was finally able to download, it had an issue with my browser (I think)... tried another and got it to download! I loaded them today and they are AWESOME! Thanks again!

Cool Walter! I'm just so freaking lazy to take pictures! I've got all the clothing from Sim Ages, and I started taking pictures (of the free ones, not on the booty) and eventually gave up. I still need to send the Graveyard their files (Once again, too lazy! [and horrid upload speeds] :P)

The picture taking episode was a bust sadly. I was missing various meshes in the game for some of the clothing. Will have to try it later.

Glad you got those files to work for you. I use Google's browser and have never had problems. Next time I was use a different file upload site. :)

This is a wonderful lot and will definitely be added to my hood. Normally I will slighly modify lots to get them exactly how I want them...but yours is already perfect. I can't wait to see more.

I absolutely adore your lots, and these look wonderful! Any chance of updating the download link? It says "file not found"...

I love the lots, but the download leads to a 404 page.

I will let Amy know, hoping she can fix it soon!

Anon, Amy & Ingrid, I had the files so I fixed the link. It's still a 7z format.
