"Nine Archers" Meadhall Set

The story on the following set was exclusively written by our excellent storyteller Van ("Kingdom of Naroni"). Thank you very much!

Now, on to the set. I proudly present some new furniture and deco objects for your medieval taverns. Pictures were taken in the "Nine Archers" meadhall I built for sharing, but alas! it wouldn't package.

Meshes are basegame, except for Balustrade/ fence (Nightlife), Two-storey Column (Nightlife) and Bar Counter (Open for Business). All items are clearly labeled in the zip for you to pick what you want. Included are Residential and Community Collections. Polycount of all objects is kept within Maxis range.

  3. This set looks beautiful! You really display nice artistry and craftsmanship, Lady Lama!

I wonder if the Nightlife and Open For Business objects work for any game that has an expansion pack. Hope you don't mind someone testing this out in a game configuration without Nightlife and reporting the effects.

    Great job, Lady Lama!

  4. @Anonymous, two-storey columns come with Nightlife. The balustrade/ fence was cloned from a Nightlife fence, because basegame fences are known to look weird when cloned.
The bar counter was cloned from a Nightlife bar, so it might not show up in Party catalogue if you don't have this EP.

Thank you very much guys, for leaving a comment. I did it for you!

  5. Hey Lady Lama!

Guess what? The 2-story column and bar counter actually show up in my game, and I don't even have Nightlife! Could it be that Nightlife was the first EP to allow 2-story columns and cars, and thus have the little icon, whereas the base game, the little icon in the game catalogues would be absent? I have Best of Business collection pack, and that's it. So far, so good. :-D

Thanks for the set, though! This will look great in my game!

  7. @Anonymous, good to hear about the column.
The bar requires OfB, therefore is available with Best of Business anyway.

  8. I notice that the table and stools, though very cute, appear familiar. I swear I have seen them before. It must have been one of the lots I've downloaded from the Medieval Smithy in 2011 or 2012. Can't exactly remember when. Just know that I used it.

Perhaps, this is an improvisation of those stools.

  9. @Anonymous, these are brand new meshes I've made up by myself. Of course, one cannot invent the wheel twice, so there may be similar stools and tables for Sims 2 available.

  10. This is so amazing! Thank you, my tavern is somewhat lacklustre at the moment and now it's going to look fantastic :)

  11. Lama, this is so beautiful! Is that lovely lot you created to show off this set available for download?

  12. This is just an amazing (and amazingly useful) set! I'm going through and downloading 'most all of your stuff right now, but occasionally I just have to pause and express my admiration for an especially wonderful collection. I can't wait to use these in game.

  15. Lama I love this set! Only thing that I need for all my taverns is a matching counter for the bar, any chance you could make one?

  16. Hi Ekho, well, I haven't done any counters before and I read that they are a bit difficult to do. Also, I don't have much/ any time for creating lately. But I will have a look at it.
