Northumbria- Series #4

Hello all! Today I bring you series #4 in my Northumbria Series. As usual, a list of custom content can be found at Post #2 as well as Post #3, these have a few more maxis recolors.
The upper two pictures show the neighborhood grocer, a community lot for your sims that wish to make some money gardening and selling produce to their fellow neighbors. For this lot I had SimWardrobe's business hacks in mind, most particularly the employee gardening and produce packing station, which enables sims to garden and sell their produce in sets, rather than a single vegetable which is what the game allows. It's perfect for your farmers or sims with a green thumb that wish to make a bit of cash.
The larger lot shown below has been made for your lower nobility, Knights and Baronets alike that live in a more stately home than your regular citizens, but not a home so grand as your Royal family. A big thank you to Sunni for her wonderful recolors of the 4ESF medieval kitchen fridge and various other objects- they blend so well with this series.
In addition to the objects not already mentioned, these lots contain:

Download Knight's Manor and Grocer..... Enjoy! :)

Baker's Oven

This new mesh oven is a remix of the medieval oven at Sims Design Avenue. It has an open area underneath for cooking directly on the fire. The counter area functions as a stove. The upper oven is decorative only and by using omsps it can be filled with decorative or real foods. The upper oven door opens or closes by selecting the recolor. Also, it has a functional clean/dirty state. There are 10 recolors of the oven (with both open/closed oven door). I suggest using the Invisible Fireplace with Logs along with the oven.

Shutter Windows

Today I bring you some medieval recolours of two windows.
Shutters were also used on the inside of rooms, since there used to be no window panes.
The objects are called "Wandering Shutter Windows" by Parsimonious.
Download includes the original meshes and six recols of each.
NOTE: These are recolours of the original set, not of Sunni's updated version,
but they do work along with her set.

Northumbria- The Inn at Northumbria

Part 3 in my Northumbria series includes The Inn at Northumbria, a small Inn for your community which includes a pub, five hotel rooms, and a small community store for some of your sim's needs. This lot obviously functions like a hotel, so you'll need Bon Voyage installed. I personally have all the expansion packs, so you'll probably want to as well when using my lots. (It's worth it!)

The Inn is a much larger file than my other lots, and has a lot more custom content, as I had to furnish all the rooms. However, I tried to keep it down to a minimum, and if you have my other lots in this series, the amount of files added to your game will be a lot less. I used Maxis recolors when I could. Please see my post about Series #2 for a complete list of the files I use. In addition to those files, I have used:
Now you're sims will have a comfortable place to stay when they are traveling from home. Download and Enjoy! :)

Testerbed Completer Set -- Set One

I put together different artists' meshes to create the completer set for the Testerbed recolours. Through trial and error, I've come up with these item recolours to co-ordinate with my recolour of the file named wawa1-testerbed-simages from the Amy's Sleep-Country post ... this bed.
Photobucket
The set uses the meshes from these creators/sites. The following images are not in any particular order until you click "See full album" after the slideshow.
You will need to download the following meshes for some of the recolours.
King and Queen Medieval Throne by Cashcraft, Sims Design Avenue's Medieval Bathroom (as the site is closed at this time, that is the link to the required meshes), and Gara's Boutique, the GR-wooden-sofa02 and GR-woodenchairliving02, found under Gara-Mesh, page 3. All other meshes are included in a separate download link below. You'll need to download both if you don't have the meshes from Simsconnection, SimAges plus it will include Betsy4Art's mesh and Tarox' mesh.
Thanks to Betsy4Arts and Tarox for their generous recolour policy, allowing their meshes to be included. SimsAges and Simsconnection are now both closed. The bedside tables from Simplan-X weren't recolourable until I followed a tutorial by Huge Lunatic. Please allow the included meshes to overwrite spx-dcas-roybed-bedtable-mesh.package and spx-dcas-roybed-bedtable2-mesh.package if you have downloaded that set previously. And lastly, a Huge Thanks to HL for pointing out my problem with the dining chair recolour ... now it looks alot better, believe me!

My Completer Set recolours.
Meshes. (These are the meshes from Simsconnection, SimAges, the fixed bedside tables from Simplan-X, Betsy4Arts and Tarox that you need for my recolours to work).
Recolours - Wawa1. (These are the object recolours I did to match the Antique Testerbed in the first photo).
I hope you'll like Set One .... now only 14 more sets to go ... if I want to do this for all the other Testerbeds that I made recolours of!! LOL! Ooooouch ... I think I have a headache coming on .....Groan!
