Manor Regency Suite
I had found a sofa mesh at Cadnav.com and used it as the base for a new furniture set that I'm calling The Manor Regency Suite
. The meshes have a master mesh, the sofa, while the rest of the meshes are slaved to it for their textures. The bed has a recolourable set for the bedding.

Versailles Seating Part Two -- Tapestry textiles
In relation to the previous post, I did a series of textures using embroidery or tapestry textiles. Only a wee few this time ... 25 to be exact. I needed to save some for the "royal collection tapestries" upload I'm planning on publishing. When Henry VIII died, his inventory listed over 2,450 tapestries in his collection. But that's another post. LOL

Versailles Seating - Simple Fabrics
Continuing with the 9th Anniversary gifts for Ingrid and all the Smithy visitors, I edited a bench mesh from the game Oblivion for this seating arrangement to be used in your manors, museums, halls and palaces. I hope you might enjoy them. There are, of course, 60 recolours because, Hey .... it's what I do. Gazillion Bazillion recolours LOL.

Set "Merudin"
Hi, all! It's been a while since my last post - no opportunities for creating. Therefore, this set took me ages to finish, though I had planned to add more items to it. So, here's new stuff for your apothecary, but also medieval kitchens. The cabinet comes with 11 slots (based on Buggybooz's "Marion Shelving"). A fancy sidetable, chair, bottles (all with recolours) and floor covers complement the set. Collection file is included with the download.

Fixed Link : SimArchitect's Lyre Arm Settee (Edited / Updated)
So, this is embarrassing! Ooops.
I uploaded this item six years ago, and it is only today that someone out of almost 1500 people mentioned that the links were the same. Which is odd because 19 people got the correct link. Not sure what happened but obviously I was brain-dead at the time. The link is fixed now so the recolours should show ingame.

See the original post here.

Seating a la Antoinette -- Link Fixed!
At least that's what I'm calling these furniture pieces that I extracted from the game Oblivion. The chair and sofa are modified meshes plus a new mesh utilizing the sofa to create a loveseat. I had shared these at the Keep for the 8th Anniversary. I thought it might be time to share here too. They have been picked over and tested meticulously by Sol (LadySilverwolf) with new corrections until I hope they are now complete. Thanks Sol!! Without further adieu, here's what I did with them.

Medieval Pantry Cabinet aka Fridge
Hi all! I found there weren't enough medieval fridges for the game, that's why I made one (and it's the first time I had to assign joints!) So, this object works as a fridge and needs Seasons EP. It costs 600 $ and has a polycount of 1684, two recolours included. Additionally, you get a wall mounted salt box, just because I had this too long in my stash (filed under Wall Hangings for 65 $).
Well, I'm afraid it's going to be a long time from now that you'll find me making my next post here. I simply don't have enough time for this hobby anymore (and those who do create know how time consuming it can be).

Tudor Set
This set includes an arched panel (found under columns) to create a vaulted ceiling, a window, a window seat (found under sofas), two books (which have been sitting about my workshop folder for too long), and floorings (found under tiles). Everything is basegame compatible. Textures do match my Mhalwae and Nogge walls.

The Federal Suite
(Participation Prize for the "Winter Holidaze" event hosted at the Keep by rugratOne!).
I thought I may as well share this now with everyone, as a way to give the Smithy a new update! It was disheartening to see the same one published at Christmas every time I would check in on things here! LOL.
Michelle@MTS had made some alterations to the Federal Bed converted by TheNinthWave. I had mentioned to her that I should try to make a whole suite so I did. Using bits and pieces I put together a full furniture set with recolours of course!

And the swatches representing the recolours. The great thing about this set is all the pieces use the same texture as the bed, so you can make your own recolours easily if you wish.

I hope you will enjoy these in your game. But a favour? Go to both Michelle's link and Jon's link and give them both a huge Thanks for putting their creations out there for us to use.

Set Turner Part I "Edited"
Ingrid's Set "Turner" Part I has been a very popular download here at the Smithy. I hope she won't mind but I have learned a wee bit more in meshing items and decided .... "Why not make it functional too!". So I have created a functioning version of the Armoire and the Cabinet. I will work on the other two over time.
The Medieval Armoire

I had to re-work the UV mapping on this item as the texture for the armoire door was also the same for the back wall of the closet. I, however, left the mapping for the cabinet the same.
The Medieval Cabinet

I based the functional items on the basegame armoire, the "Su-Tove" armoire. It will contain the changing options that are available in the original basegame item. The difference in the height is because it was cloned from that object. Which is a bonus in a way. I used new GUIDs for these two meshes so you can keep both in your games. Ingrid's meshes will have the "opening a drawer" animation.
I hope everyone will find these useful for their games.

The Witcher Suite
(Also shared at The PlumbBob Keep)
So another small set of furniture compiled from the witcher "satinchair" model extracted by Oaristys@The Nexus. This is the chair (minus the fringed border showing up for the pictures) cloned from a basegame chair costing 620 Simoleons. It consists of 2 subsets: frame and cushion. It is classed as a "PARENTMESH". All the other meshes are drawing their textures from that chair mesh so you need it for the recolours to show ingame.

The Tudors. In Thrones!
(Also shared at PlumbBob Keep.)
From the meshes extracted from the Witcher, by Oaristys at the Nexus, one of the furniture pieces is titled "satin chair". I have a whole new suite of furniture made utilizing that one chair as the PARENT mesh. To me, the chair hinted at a Tudor/Stuart era mixed with a Spanish and Renaissance influence. So for today, I went with the Tudor era, by making thrones of that dynasty. And of course, I threw in a papal throne for the drama of that timeframe. So, I present The Tudors. In Thrones.

Happy Anniversary to Ingrid and the Smithy
So, today (August 18th) marked the day of my birthday. And when it's my birthday, it also means it's the day that Ingrid first started this blog; The Medieval Smithy. That means presents. Well, to celebrate the two events, I made a new furniture grouping that I am affectionately calling ....
The Smithy Suite.
It is all based on Ingrid's medieval table posted here. I had already made a small dining add-on matching the original table after the 18 fantastic recolours created by Fire_Flower at PBK. Then it snowballed into a whole new furniture grouping. Livingroom Chair without/with cushions plus an Endtable

Livingroom Loveseat without/with cushions plus the Endtable

Livingroom Sofa without cushions

Livingroom Sofa with cushions

Plus a fancy Bookcase

An OFB shelf, the Endtable, a Nighttable, a Coffeetable on a 1x1 tile, a Coffeetable on a 2x1 tile, Bedroom Vanity And Two More Shelves based on the Winery Shelves by Sun&Moon with Slots galore
A Doublebed and a Doublebed with Canopy

And lastly, WawaSim lounging on the Singlebed with the Nighttable, waiting for Prince Charming to arrive
Of course, the bedding and the cushions for the furniture had to match so I made 22 sets to pick and choose from.

It All Begins With A Chair.
(As shared at PBK regarding the Guild Wares II contest.)
I know, I know! The contest deadline is past. This was to have been my entry into the contest but ya know that thing called Real Life. Okay, Okay! I was procrastinating!! Jeez, you all see right through me. It all started with 2 meshes I had extracted from Skyrim. The "upperbench02" and the "upperdoublebed05".
A little cut/paste from here ... a little cut/paste from there .... and voila!

A whole new furniture grouping.
Anywho, I call the project ..... It All Begins With A Chair! Or affectionately known in the package file names, The Tower Suite "blank". Those side posts reminded me of medieval castle towers so hence the name.

Celtic Bedroom
So, what do we have here: Not very medieval indeed, but this is for your Celts and Vikings (and I'm planning to do some more for them). Today you get two beds and a cradle with one recolour to match the Celtic Hall Build Set. Use the beds with the included matching bedding, for it's visible when Sims are sleeping. Credits go to Jonesi, because one of her bed blankets went into the meshes. Also, thanks to Rugs and Davina for testing! Polycount: Double Bed 3596, Single Bed 3040, Cradle 290. Basegame compatible.
